Julio Gomez

Julio Gomez recently embarked on a solo career in central New Jersey specializing in civil rights and commercial litigation. He advises a variety of clients on issues as diverse as free speech, police brutality, employment discrimination, environmental compliance and unfair trade practices. Last year he successfully defended the First Amendment rights of festival organizers from efforts by the City of Perth Amboy to impose a ban on live amplified music on their Puerto Rican street festival. This year, Mr. Gomez is co-lead counsel in Crawford v. Davy, a class action filed in New Jersey seeking a school choice remedy for children trapped in failing schools.
